2007 Chardonnay, Russian River Valley - David Noyes Wines

2007 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast - David Noyes Wines

Subtle, complex and rich, this delightful wine opens with aromas of ripe black cherry preserves, underscored by a touch of cinnamon and clove. On the palate the initial impressions of ripe fruit and spice expand, supported by flavor and aromas of wild the wine finishes with a touch of toasted oak and pepper. Enjoyable now, the wine's structure and lineage promise interesting development for the next 2 to 5 years.

2006 Merlot, Sonoma Valley - David Noyes Wines

Despite being the last grapes David harvested in 2006, this Merlot maintained good acidity and bright berry flavors even with the long hang time. Fully ripe, the tannins are smooth and velvety, and despite its youth it is very enjoyable now. For additional complexity David aged the wine for 9 months in new French oak from the Doreau cooperage, whose barrels add mocha, vanilla and spice notes without detracting from the freshness of the fruit.

100% Merlot, 15% alcohol, only 40 cases produced.
